SETH MEYERS
Comedian Seth Meyers will perform his entertaining stand-up routine when he debuts at The Mirage Hotel & Casino Friday, March 23. Meyers recently wrapped his 10th season on the award-winning variety show “Saturday Night Live (SNL).”  In 2001, the New England native joined the cast of the late-night comedy show SNL and recently completed his fifth season not only as the head writer, but as the anchor of the show’s longest-running recurring sketch, “Weekend Update.” Prior to focusing his attention solely on “Weekend Update,” Meyers was a regular player in the show, impersonating numerous characters and performing various impressions. Most notable was his portrayal of Senator John Kerry during the show’s satire of the 2004 Presidential election.

SIEGFRIED & ROY’S SECRET GARDEN & DOLPHIN HABITAT

The Mirage is home to Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat and is distinguished from all other hotels in the world by its animal habitats, built both for educational programs and public enjoyment. The Secret Garden is home to five rare animal breeds, including the White Lions of Timbavati and Siegfried & Roy’s Royal White Tigers of Nevada. Through the Secret Garden, Siegfried and Roy seek to increase public awareness of the plight of all endangered animals and to foster dialogue about the world’s rarest breeds.

The Dolphin Habitat serves as the home for a family of bottlenose dolphins. This embattled species dwells in the finest surroundings incorporating the latest in research technology. THE MICHAEL JACKSON FAN FEST
To kick off the tour stop in Las Vegas, fans will have the chance to experience the legacy of Michael Jackson in a whole new way during the first-ever Estate-authorized Michael Jackson Fan Fest taking place for a limited time only at Mandalay Bay beginning Saturday, Dec. 3. This experience is expected to include a wide variety of elements such as an up-close look at Michael Jackson memorabilia, items from Neverland Ranch, photo opportunities in recreated sets from historic Michael Jackson videos, a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of Michael Jackson The IMMORTAL World Tour, a main stage featuring contests, Q&A sessions with members of the creative team from Michael Jackson The IMMORTAL World Tour as well as other associates of Michael Jackson, giveaways and more.  In addition, the Fan Fest will give attendees the chance to compete against one another in contests centered around the recently released UBISOFT video game “Michael Jackson The Experience.”

SANTA IN THE SHIPWRECK
Santa is making his list and checking it twice, finding naughty sharks, a rare Komodo Dragon and piranha in his sight.  Children can share their last-minute wishes with the traditional Santa in the aquarium’s shipwreck exhibit.  Jolly St. Nick will have a little help again this year from a rather large and toothy holiday helper – Santa Jaws.  Throughout the day, Santa Jaws will happily “swim” by to join the kiddies for a photo.

Celebrate Martin Luther King Day Weekend with laughter when CEDRIC “THE ENTERTAINER” comes to The Joint. The charismatic actor & comedian is bringing his stand-up comedy routine to The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Saturday, January 14. Tickets go on sale this Saturday at noon.

Cedric is best known for his many crowd-pleasing performances in such hit films as BARBERSHOP, BE COOL with John Travolta, MADAGASCAR, INTOLERABLE CRUELTY with George Clooney, JOHNSON FAMILY VACATION (the 2004  box office hit in which Cedric was both star and producer), and THE ORIGINAL KINGS OF COMEDY (MTV’S phenomenally successful documentary feature directed by Spike Lee), to name a few.

Due to the high demand for tickets, a second show has been added for Guns N’ Roses at The Joint. Tickets are now on sale for Friday, December 30 and Saturday, December 31. New Year’s Weekend will never be the same after Guns N’ Roses rocks The Joint! The legendary rockers are doing their first US tour in five years and the final two shows will be a big party at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Guns N’ Roses consists of Axl Rose, DJ Ashba (guitar), Dizzy Reed (keyboards), Tommy Stinson (bass), Richard Fortus (guitar), Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (guitar), Chris Pitman (keyboards) and Frank Ferrer (drums). Each night, the band will perform a two and a half hour show with all of their hits.

Axl Rose started Guns N’ Roses over 25 years ago. Since that time, they have become one of the biggest bands in music history, selling over 100 million albums worldwide.  GNR’s “Appetite For Destruction” has sold over 28 million albums in the United States alone.
