Photos: NBA STAR, METTA WORLD PEACE, DINES AT SUGAR FACTORY AMERICAN BRASSERIE IN LAS VEGAS

Los Angeles Lakers forward, Metta World Peace, had a feast at Sugar Factory American Brasserie at Paris Las Vegas Saturday night. Also known as Ron Artest, the larger than life NBA superstar was accompanied by a small group in celebration of a friend’s birthday.

Looking casual in a black polo and jeans, Artest enjoyed Sugar Factory’s signature hamburger, fries and a milk chocolate malt milkshake. His group sipped on S’Mores and red velvet martinis while sharing plates of macaroni and cheese pops, Mediterranean salads, steak frites and more. To top the delicious dinner off, the athlete and his table were presented with an over-the-top cake presentation in honor of the birthday festivities. On his way out, Artest took a trip around Sugar Factory’s flagship retail store to pick up Reese’s Pieces and York Peppermint Patties. Artest stopped to take pictures with admiring fans and drew a crowd as he posed for photographs in Sugar Factory’s store front window while eating candy.

Sugar Factory isn’t your average sweet spot. The brand has made confections part of popular culture and has turned sweets into the latest designer accessory. Sugar Factory’s signature Couture Pop collections have already hit the red carpets in the hands of celebrities at major events in Miami, Los Angeles, New York City and Las Vegas. Kim Kardashian, the Pussycat Dolls and Britney Spears are now endorsing their very own Couture Pops, and are just part of the buzz that has made Sugar Factory a staple in such national media as People, OK!, Us Weekly, In Touch Weekly, NBC’s “Today Show” and more.
