Las Vegas Jam Band Society Presents Their 200th Show With The Greyboy
Allstars at Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip Friday, September 28
WHAT: Las Vegas Jam Band Society presents their 200th show with The Greyboy Allstars at the Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip Friday, September 28.
Innovatively blending hip hop beats, soul-jazz grooves, and indie rock, The Greyboy Allstars have created a signature west coast sound that has traveled everywhere, from the stage, to the studio, to the big screen. With sold-out performances nationwide, the band has built a vast fan base that is no longer limited to its early legion of surfers, skaters and snowboarders.
Dedicated to the craft of live music, The Greyboy Allstars released their most recent studio album, What Happened to Television in 2007 to critical acclaim. Their rollicking jams, which have made fans out of such notable acts as Lenny Kravitz and The Roots, can be heard in countless films, including “Get Shorty,” and in extreme sports videos.
Proudly presenting The Greyboy Allstars as its 200th show since the year 2000, the Las Vegas Jam Band Society exists to help create a more supportive music community in southern Nevada for the musicians of the jam band genre through grass roots promotions and concert events.
Dedicated to making Southern Nevada a national destination for jam band festivals by presenting quality music, the Las Vegas Jam Band Society aims to introduce more people to the magic of the genre and the musicians who play it.
