Country music megastar Martina McBride returns to Las Vegas with performance at Green Valley Ranch Resort

Following a sold-out show in 2011, country music icon Martina McBride will return to the Grand Events Center inside Green Valley Ranch Resort on Friday, August 3, 2012, at 8 p.m.
Tickets are $42.50, $55, $65 and $75 plus tax and applicable fees and go on sale Saturday, May 19 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at any Station Casinos Reward Center and The Fiestas, by logging onto www.sclv.com/concerts or through Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 or www.ticketmaster.com.
Dubbed the “Céline Dion of country music,” McBride is one of the world’s most successful musicians, with five platinum-certified albums, two multi-platinum certified albums and one gold-certified album, all of which have resulted in over 18 million albums sold worldwide. In addition, McBride was awarded the Country Music Association’s “Female Vocalist of the Year” award four times and the Academy of Country Music’s “Top Female Vocalist” award three times, in addition to 10 Grammy nominations.
Beginning with her breakthrough 1997 album, Evolution, McBride has released a string of major hit singles including, “Wild Angels,” “A Broken Wing,” “Wrong Again” and “Blessed.” McBride has reached number one on the Billboard Hot Country chart five times and the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart once with her 2003 release, “This One’s for the Girls.”
In 2011, McBride released the album Eleven. The album’s first two singles, “Teenage Daughters” and “I’m Gonna Love You Through It,” both broke into the top 50 on the Billboard Hot Country songs chart. Her latest single, a duet with Train singer Pat Monohan of the song “Marry Me,” is currently climbing up the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.
Doors will open at 7 p.m. and show time is 8 p.m. This is an all ages show and those under 21 must be accompanied by an adult.
