Southern Wine & Spirits For a Monthly Series of Pairing Dinners
First dinner is Wine Pairing on Wednesday, May 9
Monthly tasting dinners are coming to R Steak & Seafood inside the Riviera Hotel & Casino in a partnership with Southern Wine & Spirits. The nation’s number one ranked distributor is providing the wine, liquor and beer for each of the tastings. R Steak & Seafood’s Executive Chef, Jason Bradley, has worked closely with Southern Wine & Spirits’ expert tasting staff to create a series of five-course dinners, including a wine pairing, Scotch Whisky pairing and beer pairing.
Each tasting dinner begins with a welcome reception starting at 6 p.m. and the sit-down portion beginning at 6:30 p.m. The upcoming pairing dinners include:
Wine Tasting Dinner – Wednesday, May 9, featuring French winemaker Gerard Bertrand. Cost is $65 per person in advance and $75 per person at the door, both plus tax and gratuity
Scotch Whisky Tasting Dinner – Wednesday, June 13, featuring all Johnnie Walker marques, including Blue, is being presented by Tom Turner, one of only 15 Masters of Whisky worldwide. Advance reservations cost $85 per person and cost at the door is $95 per person, both plus tax and gratuity.
Beer Tasting Dinner – Wednesday, July 11, featuring a selection of beers from New Belgian Brewing Co. Cost is $40 per person with advance reservations and $50 per person at the door, both plus tax and gratuity.
