Artist Info: Throughout a long and successful career, George Thorogood & The Destroyers has sold more than 15 million albums worldwide and released 16 studio albums, eight of which have achieved gold certification or higher. The band released their eponymous debut album in 1976 and gained mainstream success in the early 1980s, after touring with The Rolling Stones and being featured as a musical guest on “Saturday Night Live.” One of the band’s most popular singles to date, “Bad to the Bone,” was released in 1982 and went on to achieve gold certification. The single has been featured in a long list of movies and television programs, including “Terminator 2,” “Problem Child,” Stephen King’s “Christine,” “Major Payne” and “Miami Vice,” among many others. The band continued its hot streak with the 1988 album, the gold-certified Born to be Bad, which featured the singles, “You Talk Too Much” and “Born to be Bad,” which peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The band’s latest release, 2120 South Michigan Ave, was released in 2011 and peaked at number two on the Billboard Top Blues Albums chart.

Artist Info: Now appearing twice a month, hosts and singer/songwriters Brian McComas, who wrote and sang “I Could Never Love You Enough,” and Aaron Benward of Blue County, who wrote and sang “That’s Cool,” present “Nashville Unplugged: The Story Behind the Song.” In addition to these two talented musicians, they host well-known songwriters to create a fun and unique experience, akin to Nashville’s Bluebird Café.

 

After performing on the folk-rock stages in Pittsburgh for more than 15 years, Dave Pahanish was offered several publishing deals within weeks of relocating to Nashville in 2006. Pahanish has co-written several number one Billboard country music singles, including Jimmy Wayne’s “Do You Believe Me Now,” Toby Keith’s “American Ride” and Keith Urban’s “Without You.” Several of Pahanish’s songs were also featured on Tim McGraw’s 2012 album, Emotional Traffic.

 

Best known for writing John Waite’s “Missing You,” which peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, Chas Sandford has written for a long list of artists, including Chicago, Stevie Nicks, Tina Turner, Brooks & Dunn and Rod Stewart. Sandford reached a new high with the release of Stevie Nicks’ “Talk To Me,” which peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 and number one on the Billboard Top Rock Tracks chart. His success continued with the release of Chicago’s “What Kind of Man Would I Be,” which once again reached the top 10 on the Billboard charts. In 2011, Sandford released the album Wag More Bark Less

Artist Info: A United States Army veteran, Craig Morgan broke onto the country music scene with his self-titled debut album in 2000. Morgan continued his success with the albums, Love It, the gold-certified My Kind of Livin’, and Little Bit of Life. The albums produced several chart hits, including “That’s What I Love About Sunday,” which spent four weeks at the top of the country charts and was voted Billboard’s number one country hit of 2005. Throughout his successful career, Morgan has charted 17 times on the Billboard country charts, including six top-10 hits.

 

Best known for being half of the country music duo, Brooks & Dunn, Kix Brooks’ self-titled, debut album featured the song, “Sacred Ground,” which was later re-recorded by the band McBride & the Ride and reached number two on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. As a member of Brooks & Dunn, Brooks was featured as lead vocals on “Lost and Found,” “Rock My World (Little Country Girl)” and “You’re Gonna Miss Me When I’m Gone,” which reached number one on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart.

 

A relative newcomer to the music industry, Kip Moore has already established himself as one of country music’s up-and-coming artists. In 2011, Moore released the singles “Mary Was the Marrying Kind” and “Something’ ‘bout a Truck,” which peaked at number 21 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Moore’s debut album is set to be released in 2012.

 

Dustin Lynch released his debut single, “Cowboys and Angels,” in 2012. The song, which received critical praise, reached number 36 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Throughout his short and already-successful songwriting career, Lynch has written more than 200 songs.

 

One of country music’s most talented new artists, Jon Pardi’s musical style pays tribute to some of the industry’s most successful artists, including Dwight Yoakam, George Strait and Alan Jackson. Pardi has shared the stage with Eric Church, Pat Green and Dierks Bentley and is currently recording his debut album.

Jacobs’ songs have been recorded by artists such as Trace Adkins, Jo Dee Messina, Craig Morgan, Tim McGraw, Kellie Pickler and Clay Walker, among others. In 2011, Jacobs and Pickler married, after more than two years of dating.

 

A Colorado native, Ben Glover has written several number-one hits throughout his already successful career. With his songs being recorded by a long list of artists, including Trace Adkins, The Backstreet Boys, Clay Walker, Chuck Wicks and Britt Nicole, Glover has worked with the “Who’s who” of the country music and established himself as one of the most sought-after writers in the industry.

Banton’s success continued with the release of the single, “Baby Come Back,” which reached number one in the UK. In 2001, Banton’s album, Life Is a Miracle, received a Grammy nomination for “Best Reggae Album.” Following the release of the album, Destination Paradise, Pato formed, The Now Generation.

Artist Info: One of the music industry’s most successful producers, with credits including The Beatles and Pink Floyd, Alan Parsons and producer/songwriter Eric Woolfson formed The Alan Parsons Project, which featured a revolving group of studio musicians and vocalists. The group’s debut album, Tales Of Mystery and Imagination, was based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe and paved the way to a string of hit albums, including I Robot, Pyramid, The Turn of a Friendly Card and Eye in the Sky, which peaked at number seven on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Following a lineup change and Parson’s relocation to California, the Alan Parsons Live Project was formed and released the album A Valid Path, which featured several artists, including Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour. In addition to several albums achieving gold and platinum certifications, Parsons has received 10 Grammy Award nominations for engineering and producing.

Artist Info: Presented by Bonkerz Comedy Productions, Louie LOL at the Louie Anderson Theater is a family-friendly show where guests can catch the esteemed headliner in his intimate showroom. A two-time Emmy award winner, Anderson recently celebrated his first anniversary at Palace Station in Las Vegas and continues to be one of the country’s most recognized and adored comics. The comic’s material relates stories about growing up in the Midwest, being one of 11 children and dealing with an alcoholic father. Anderson constantly introduces new material to keep the comedy timely.

 

Anderson was named by Comedy Central as “One of 100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of All Time.” His TV and film work includes, starring in his own CBS sitcom “The Louie Show” and his own comedy specials for both HBO and Showtime, as well as several films, including “Coming to America” opposite Eddie Murphy. Anderson has hosted the syndicated hit series, “Family Feud” and was executive producer and creator of the two-time Emmy Award-winning animated series on FOX, “Life with Louie.” In addition to his TV and film credits, Anderson is also a best-selling author and has written three books, including the best-seller book “Dear Dad-Letters from an Adult Child” in 1989.

Artist Info: Legendary comedian Marty Allen got his start in the comedy world performing at nightclubs while going to college during the day. It became so lucrative for him, that he eventually quit college to pursue comedy fulltime. It was shortly thereafter that he became part of the popular ’50s comedy duo Allen and Rossi with fellow comedian Steve Rossi. Together, the two toured the country, released several hit comedy albums, performed more than 40 times on the “Ed Sullivan Show” and starred in the comedic film “The Last of the Secret Agents.”

Artist Info: Comedian and writer, Ed Driscoll, headlines while Louie Anderson is on the road. Driscoll began his comedy career as a performer at clubs and on television in his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. He quickly gained national notoriety as a touring comic, opening for such performers as Jay Leno, Steven Wright and Robert Klein. Driscoll’s work on HBO’s “Dennis Miller Live” was recognized with an Emmy Award, a Cable Ace Award and a Writers Guild of America Award. Driscoll is currently a writer and producer for ABC’s “Joey and Melissa.”
