Saxon featuring Borealis – Monday Night Rocks
10:30 p.m.
British heavy metal band, Saxon, was formed in Barnsley, England in 1977 and took the world by storm when it signed with French based Carrere Records and toured Britain as a support group to Motorhead and Nazareth. Branching out, the group released the successful album Wheels of Steel, which was its second record. Saxon spent the rest of the ‘80s recording and releasing new albums, such as Strong Arm of the Law and Denim & Leather. The guys also took some time to tour Europe and the U.S. to gain a larger following. The album, Rock the Nations, released in 1987, landed in the Billboard 200. The band started the new decade with its 10th studio album Solid Ball of Rock in 1990. The ‘90s turned out to be a lucrative time in Saxon’s career as the band grew stronger than ever after releasing hit albums such as Forever Free in 1992, Metalhead in 1999 and Killing Ground in 2001. The group’s hard work paid off when it landed a record deal with CMC International, which launched it into a successful American tour. Saxon found even more success as the album Into the Labyrinth, released in 2009, was named on the European Top 100 Albums. The band’s most recent album, Call To Arms, was released earlier in 2011.

Saxon will be joined by the more recently formed rock group, Borealis. This band of five Canadian guys released the debut album World of Silence in 2008 and catapulted into rock music greatness. Borealis spent the Summer of 2010 recording the hit album Fall From Grace and the effort paid off when the group played the internationally known festival ProgPower USA in September 2010. The band signed with both Hydrant Music in Japan and Lion Music for the rest of the world in 2011. Guests must be 21 years or older to attend. Guests can visit mondaynightrocks.com for complimentary tickets.

Sebastian Bach featuring Sin City Sinners – Monday Night Rocks
10:30 p.m.
Sebastian Bach, former singer of the successful rock band Skid Row, will perform to audiences at Crown Theater. Bach bounced around from band to band during the beginning stages of his music career, but he found his ticket to success when he joined Skid Row. Skid Row signed with Atlantic Records and issued its self-titled debut album in 1989. The band made a name for itself after opening for Bon Jovi during a U.S. tour. After a successful run with the band Bach went solo in 1997 and released the album Bring ‘Em Bach Alive in 1999. He continued touring and opened for the legendary band Guns ‘N Roses during its Chinese Democracy tour. Bach turned to another side of entertainment when he was featured as a regular on the popular television show The Gilmore Girls. Staying true to his passion of music, Bach recently released his fourth solo album Kicking and Screaming in September 2011.

Sebastian Bach will be joined by the Sin City Sinners, a band comprised of lead rock musicians that perform at different venues around Las Vegas. Guests must be 21 years or older to attend. Guests can visit mondaynightrocks.com for complimentary tickets.
