Description: Combining a delectable array of original soul, rock and funk, Home Cookin’ delivers it with a serious amount of eye-popping energy and the popular Vegas-based act is back in action. In these times of canned soul-less music, Home Cookin’ makes it a point to sock it to fans every time with slammin’ original funk. Home Cookin’ swells to a massive 10 talented players, including a five-man horn section. With their 1997 debut album “Mmm, Mmm, Mmm,” and their 2000 release of “Pink in the Middle,” Home Cookin’ made a name for themselves on the West Coast and have been voted “Best Local Band” and “Best Local CD” several times during those years. Having been compared to the likes of Tower of Power, they have been shakin’ the butts of West Coast audiences for more than a decade. Home Cookin’ was one of the first local Las Vegas acts to play top casino showrooms on the strength of their original material rather than covers. Their music remains a legacy to the Las Vegas scene.
