Playboy Comedy announces August 2011 headliners

Award-winning Playboy Comedy announces the August 2011 schedule of comedians. Hosted by Cort McCown, all shows take place inside The Lounge at the Palms Casino Resort.  

Playboy Comedy Headliners: 

  • August 4-6 – Tommy Davidson, “In Living Color”
  • August 11- 13 – Neal Brennan, “Chappelle’s Show” co-creator
  • August 18-20 – Marc Maron, “WTF” Podcast #1 on iTunes
  • August 25-27 – Andy Kindler, “Last Comic Standing”

 Show Times:

  • Thursday – 10 p.m.
  • Friday – 10 p.m.
  • Saturday – 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.

 Tickets:

Ticket prices start at $39.99 (inclusive of taxes), which includes entry into the legendary Playboy Club following the show. VIP tickets are also available for $59.99, which includes a line pass into Playboy Comedy, VIP seating at the show and entry into Playboy Club following the show.

A buffet dinner package is now available, which includes VIP ticket amenities and a dinner buffet pass for $69.99.

Tommy Davidson’s versatile range spreading from stand-up comedy and acting to music has earned him the reputation of an exceptional performer. Best known for being an original member of the primetime hit television show “In Living Color,” Davidson’s reach was built on the show’s and its stars’ groundbreaking talent. In Davidson’s live show, fans can expect to hear plenty of his infamous impersonations, along with his innovative comedic delivery of personal stories.

About Neal Brennan

Neal Brennan has had a long career in writing, directing, producing and performing stand-up comedy. He is best known for being the co-creator of the Comedy Central series “Chapelle’s Show,” and for co-writing the comedic classic “Half Baked.”  In Brennan’s live show, fans can expect to hear plenty of outlandishly funny jokes and stories with his own spin based on personal experiences.

About Marc Maron

Marc Maron has been writing and performing raw, honest and thought-provoking comedy for more than 15 years. He has headlined two Comedy Central specials and currently produces a podcast called “WTF with Marc Maron,” ranked #1 on iTunes. In Maron’s live show, fans can expect to hear his uncut and philosophical take on life and his experiences. Maron was recently featured in Entertainment Weekly in an article titled “The Comedian’s Comedian.”

About Andy Kindler

Andy Kindler has been known over the years for his comedic troublemaking and outlandishly funny jabs at people in the industry. He has notably been a favorite on “Late Show with David Letterman” and most recently a judge on “Last Comic Standing”. In Kindler’s live show, audiences can expect to hear his cynically entertaining opinions and attacks on industry types, fellow comedians and anyone else in his path.
